Information on how to stand for selection into a QLD Women’s Master Team

FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS TO BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR SELECTION

1. Register with HQ and pay the Senior Player Levy.
2. N.B. Play in local Association fixtures
3. Nominate by the closing date using the official link on HQ website and RECEIVE a receipt. (Nominations will open on April 2^nd and close on June 4^th)
4. If you were born in 1971, 1970 or earlier,  attend trials in Cairns and/or play in an Association team at the Championships. (You may decide to do one or the other.  Playing in an Association team is NOT compulsory for you.)

5. If you were born in 1991-1972, attend trials in Cairns and play in an Association team at the Championships.
(Playing in an Association team IS compulsory for you.  Attending trials is NOT compulsory for you, however playing in an Assocation team is compulsory)

IMPORTANT DATES:

1. Nominations open 2^nd April
2. Nominations close 4^th June
3. Trials 12^th June (See Trial Schedule below)
4. Championships 13^th – 15^th June

If you can’t be in Cairns on those dates  – go to HQ website and apply for an exemption before 4^th June.

These are the steps you need to take-

1. Nominate and play for your Association and/or come to trials (see Notes 4 and 5 above)
2. Nominate and play for Queensland
3. Impress the selectors
