It is with great sadness that Hockey Queensland advises of the passing of Vicki Warren OAM. Vicki selflessly gave over 50 years of dedication to hockey and softball in Queensland.

Vicki was still volunteering her time and effort for the Hockey Queensland community up until this year when she fell ill. As a technical official Vicki was always willing to dedicate time to ensure others were mentored and shown the intricacies of any role. Vicki would assist anyone who showed an interest in technical officiating.
Hockey Queensland cherishes the contribution Vicki has made to the sport and she will be greatly missed at
State Championships.
We know many members will be saddened by this news and encourage each of us to support one another.

Our thoughts are especially with Vicki’s husband Ian and her family at this time.
